Autumn's Promise Assisted LivingA legacy of Love!
The best selling children’s book “Love You Forever”, by Rober Munsch is a favorite that I have read to my children many times. It’s a story about a Mother’s continual and unconditional love for her son through all of the challenging and frustrating stages of childhood, adolescence and into manhood. Every night, she takes him in her arms, she rocks him and sings “I’ll love your forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be”. A perfect example of unconditional love. The Mother eventually becomes too old and too sick to carry on. The son, in his turn, takes her in his arms, rocks her and sings, “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my Mother you’ll be”. The book ends with the Son rocking his brand new baby and singing those same beautiful words…. the unconditional love song. The unconditional love shown to the child proves worthy, as the child becomes the caregiver. Love is shown in patience, respect, encouragement, acts of dignity, time, acceptance, touch and tenderness. May unconditional love be your legacy!

Happy Birthday!
